This aqueous glucose solution contains a known amount of glucose, and by simply adding a drop of the solution to a test strip delivers results to verify test strips and meters are working properly. Your glucose monitoring system is performing correctly if the control solution test result falls within the specific control solution range listed on your test strip vial.
