Eyebright (Euphrasia officinalis) is an annual herb, which reaches 10-15 cm, under favorable conditions can reach up to 30 cm in height. Parasitizes on the roots of herbs, especially on the roots of cereals. The stem is straight, sometimes highly branched, and reddish-brown. Leaves of Eyebright are small, ovate, and dentate. At the bottom of the stem, they quickly fall off. The flowers of the plant are white or pale purple, with a yellow rounded spot in the middle. Eyebright blooms from June to September. The fruits of the plant are capsules ripening in August-September.
