McKessons TRUE METRIX PRO Professional Monitoring Blood Glucose Test Strips are for use with the TRUE METRIX PRO Professional Blood Glucose Monitoring System (sold separately), which measures glucose in fresh capillary whole blood samples. The strips, along with the system, are for multiple-patient use in professional healthcare settings, such as long-term care facilities and physician offices. Testing is performed outside the body as an aid for monitoring the effectiveness of diabetes control. No coding necessary! The strips and system feature Triple Sense Technology and are used only with auto-disabling single-use lancing devices. We recommend drawing blood from the finger instead of forearm for more accurate results. Keep test strips in original vial with the cap tightly sealed, and never transfer strips from one vial to another. Please do not reuse strips. Chemical composition of the strips: Glucose dehydrogenase-FAD (Aspergillus species), mediators, buffers and stabilizers.
