Heavy flow is one reason to consider the MeLuna XL, but capacity is not the only reason to choose a larger menstrual cup.
The XL also has MeLuna’s largest diameter at 47 mm. Cup diameter can affect how securely a menstrual cup fits and seals, so some users may find the XL appropriate even when maximum capacity is not their primary concern.

Have a low cervix?
The Standard XL has a 56 mm cup body. If regular menstrual cups feel too long or your cervix sits low, consider the MeLuna Low Cervix Shorty collection instead. Shorty XL gives you a large diameter in a substantially shorter cup body.

Classic can be a good choice if you want comfortable everyday firmness and do not need the additional compression resistance of MeLuna Sport.
