** In the Old Testament, holy anointing oil was only to be used by the Levitical priests on themselves and to anoint the tabernacle and all therin... the temple. (Exodus 40:9). Any other use was forbidden as noted in Exodus 30:32-33. -->> ** In the New Testament, Christ destroyed the temple and the Levitical priesthood along with it at his sacrifice. ** -->> Under Christ, WE are the temple and are all priests now. According to 1 Corinthians 3:17, the temple of God is HOLY. We are commanded to anoint the HOLY temple with HOLY Anointing Oil -->> 1 Corinthians 3:16-17 (KJV) ?16 Know ye not that ??YE ARE THE TEMPLE OF GOD,?? and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you? ?17 If any man defile the temple of God, him shall God destroy; for ??THE TEMPLE OF GOD IS HOLY,?? which ??TEMPLE YE ARE.?? ?
