The unique fenestration of these pre-cut gauze pads makes application easier, resists wrinkles and folds, and enables the sponge to lie flat when wrapped around a drainage tube, IV or trach. PRE-CUT SLIT - Each 4x4 drain bandage gauze comes precut with a slit going down halfway through the sponge. The split in the pad allows the gauze to quickly and easily fit around most IVs and tubes, eliminating the need for additional instruments. Having pre-split sponges allows you to change the I.V. quickly without causing too much discomfort to you patient. SAFE AND STERILE - These pre-split 4 x 4 tracheostomy pads come packed in a sterile peel-down pouch which allow for convenient aseptic handling.
